About Us
THE MISSION
Our mission is to identify and implement real, sustainable solutions to systemic behaviors that contribute to low self-esteem, poor decision-making, and cycles of disempowerment across vulnerable populations.
Real Solutions Professional Services (RSPS) is committed to breaking generational patterns that lead to negative life outcomes by addressing the root causes of low self-worth. Our programs are designed to help participants develop a stronger self-image, increase personal accountability, and cultivate a deep respect for others. Through mentoring, life skills coaching, and counseling, we equip individuals with the emotional and cognitive tools necessary to make intentional, healthy life choices.
While our work has proven especially impactful among adolescent girls—particularly those in grades 6–8 who are navigating critical biological, emotional, and social transitions—RSPS also extends its services to individuals impacted by the justice system, including those recently released from incarceration.
Research consistently shows that low self-esteem, lack of support systems, and limited life skills are significant contributors to recidivism. RSPS addresses these barriers by providing reentry-focused programming that fosters identity transformation, emotional healing, and practical life readiness. Our approach helps returning citizens rebuild their sense of purpose, develop pro-social behaviors, and successfully reintegrate into their communities.
By teaching participants to L.I.V.E. (Love, Intentionally, Valuing Everyone), we create a framework that promotes self-worth, empathy, and responsible decision-making. For justice-involved individuals, this model is especially critical in reducing the likelihood of reoffending and increasing long-term stability.
Our partnerships with schools, community organizations, and reentry programs allow us to deliver holistic, culturally responsive services that strengthen both individuals and the communities they return to. Ultimately, RSPS seeks not only to transform lives but to reduce recidivism, strengthen families, and build healthier, more resilient communities.
Our objectives include, but are not limited to:
-
Developing a vocabulary that defines self-esteem, love, intentionality, and value, empowering participants to articulate and reshape their self-perception.
-
Strengthening literacy skills—including vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and phonics—while simultaneously cultivating higher self-esteem and intentional behaviors rooted in love and respect.
-
Engaging clients in structured learning activities that integrate reading passages, comprehension exercises, and reflective practices centered on self-worth, relationships, and decision-making.
-
Increasing awareness of how personal attitudes toward self-esteem, love, and intentionality directly influence life outcomes, relationships, and future opportunities.
-
Helping participants understand the connection between self-esteem, love, intentionality, and the choices they make—particularly in high-risk or high-pressure environments.
-
Teaching goal-setting strategies that promote personal growth, strengthen family and community relationships, and support long-term success and stability.
-
Raising awareness of behaviors that either enhance or undermine self-esteem, love, and intentionality in themselves and others.
-
Examining the relationship between positive community engagement and self-esteem, emphasizing the importance of supportive networks.
-
Providing targeted reentry support for individuals recently released from incarceration, including mentoring, emotional regulation strategies, and life skills development to support successful reintegration.
-
Reducing recidivism by addressing underlying factors such as low self-worth, lack of purpose, and limited coping skills, while promoting accountability, resilience, and pro-social decision-making.
-
Equipping participants with conflict resolution, communication, and problem-solving skills that reduce harmful behaviors and support healthy relationships.
-
Fostering a mindset of personal responsibility and community contribution, encouraging participants to become positive agents of change within their families and neighborhoods.
